  • 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped cranberries
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Stir together dry ingredients.

    Combine egg, milk, and salad oil.

    Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

    Stir in cranberries and nuts.

    Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

    Bake at 350° about 1 1/2 hours or until done.

    Remove from pan; cool on rack.
