Cranberry Nut Cookies

- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 6 oz. pkg sweetened dried cranberries, chopped
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

2Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large bowl.

3Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

4Stir in cranberries and nuts. Drop by spoon fulls on ungreased cookie sheet.

5Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until brown.

6Cool on cookie sheet for two minutes before removing to wire rack.

7Makes about five dozen cookies.
