- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 3 1/2 c. cranberries
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell and pastry for lattice topping
Directions

1In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; mix well.

2Add corn syrup, water and orange rind.

3Bring to a boil.

4Stir in almond extract, raisins, nuts and cranberries.

5Cover and cook until cranberry skins burst, stirring occasionally.

6Remove from heat. Dot with butter.

7Allow to cool; do not stir.
