  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3/4 cup Crisco oil
  • 2 cups cold water

    Mix

    first 5 ingredients together. Make three holes in dry ingredients. In first hole put the vanilla, in second hole put the vinegar, in third hole put Crisco oil. Pour cold water over all and beat well. Pour into 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
