  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. oil or melted margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cold water

Directions

    Place flour sifter in 9-inch square baking dish. Sift dry ingredients into dish.

    Make 3 wells in mixture.

    Into first, put oil, the second vinegar and third the vanilla.

    Pour the cold water over top.

    Mix with fork just until blended. Don't beat. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
