- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Whip cream stiff.

2Add salt and slowly add sugar.

3Sift flour and baking powder together; add alternately with water to whipped cream mixture.

4Add stiffly beaten egg whites and flavoring.

5Bake in layers at 375°.

6Put layers together with your favorite vanilla, coconut or lemon filling.

7Frost with Angel Icing.
