  • 2 1/2 pints white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch soda
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 pint cream
  • 1/8 lb. butter

Directions

    Pour water over sugar, add salt and soda.

    Slowly add cream after it boils well, add butter.

    Cook until it hardens in cold water pour on cool platter and pull until it creams.
