- 7/8 cup cream cheese
- 1 5/8 cups all purpose flour
- 4 1/4 tablespoons butter softened
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese grated
- ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- chives chopped
Directions

1Combine the cream cheese in a bowl with the egg yolk, butter, parmesan cheese, a pinch of ground pepper, salt, and a tablespoon of chopped chives.

2Add the flour to the mixture in the bowl and knead until the dough is of the same consistency as shortbread dough.

3Shape the dough into a ball, cover it in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour.

4Preheat the oven to 180C.

5Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 centimeter and use a cookie cutter to cut out the crackers.

6Place them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.

7Remove from the oven and let cool.
