- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 sticks margarine, softened
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- walnut or pecan halves
Directions

1Cream margarine and cream cheese; add sugar and flour, blending well.

2Form into small balls and flatten on greased cookie sheet by placing nut half in center.

3Bake for 10 minutes at 350°.

4Makes 4 1/2 to 10 dozen, depending on size formed.

5Let cookies cool before removing from cookie sheet or they will crumble.
