Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 packages instant pudding
  • 1- 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • cool whip
  • chocolate or strawberry syrup

Directions

    Bring water and butter to boil and remove from heat.

    Add flour and eggs (one at a time).

    Beat with large wooden spoon, do not use mixer.

    Pour into ungreased pan and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

    Crust will bubble with air pockets.

    Press down with heavy glass until flat and allow to cool.

    Beat pudding, cream cheese and milk until smooth (some lumps are okay).

    Pour into prepared crust.

    Spread with cool whip and drizzle with syrup of choice.

    Chill and serve.
