- 1 c. sifted flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 egg whites (keep yolks for filling)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Crisco
Directions

1Put boiling water, salt and Crisco in pan until Crisco melts. Take off of stove.

2Add flour.

3Put back on stove, stirring until mixture pulls away from pan.

4Take off stove.

5Beat in eggs, one at a time, and the two egg whites.

6Drop on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 450° for 20 minutes; reduce to 350°, bake 20 minutes more.
