  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 whole eggs

Directions

    Mix instant pudding according to directions on package.

    Set aside.

    Melt 1/4 cup butter or margarine in 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup flour.

    Continue cooking and stirring until dough forms a solid ball when spoon is scraped around side of pan, about 1 minute.

    Cool.

    Beat 2 whole eggs, one at a time, into mixture. Beat until smooth.

    Heap well rounded spoonfuls of dough 1-inch apart and baking sheet.

    Bake in hot oven (400°) for 30 minutes or until golden brown and dry.

    Cool.

    Cut puffs in half (not all the way through) and fill with pudding.
