- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Bring water, margarine and salt to boil. Remove from heat.

3Add flour all at once.

4Beat with wooden spoon until forms ball clean away from pan.

5Beat in eggs, one at a time until smooth (shiny and elastic looking).

6Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.

7Bake until puffed and light brown, 25 to 40 minutes, depending on the size of dough (sounds hollow); don't peek before 25 minutes.

8Let cool completely.

9Cut lengthwise in half and fill.
