- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 unbeaten eggs
Directions

1Bring water and butter to boiling point in heavy saucepan. Dump in salt and flour all at once.

2Lower heat; stir rapidly.

3As mixture thickens and leaves sides of pan, stir into definite ball-like mass.

4Remove from heat.

5Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating hard after each addition, until dough becomes light and fluffy.

6Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

7Makes 6 large puffs or about 15 small ones.

8Bake in preheated oven at 450° for 10 minutes.

9Reduce heat to 350°; bake for 25 minutes.
