- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1/3 c. whipping cream
- sugar
- Creamy Filling
Directions

1Mix flour, butter and whipping cream.

2Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

3Heat oven to 375°.

4Roll about 1/3 of the dough at a time, 1/8-inch thick, on floured cloth covered board.

5(Keep remaining dough refrigerated until ready to roll.)

6Cut into 1 1/2-inch rounds.

7Transfer rounds with metal spatula to piece of waxed paper that is heavily covered with sugar.

8Turn to coat each round.

9Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

10Prick each round with fork 4 times.

11Bake just until set, but not brown, 7 to 9 minutes.

12Cool.

13Just before serving, put cookies together in pairs with a Creamy Filling.
