- 1 small head cabbage
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 4 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Chop cabbage; boil in salted water until tender.

2Drain.

3Melt 6 tablespoons butter.

4Add flour; stir and add milk.

5Cook until sauce thickens.

6Layer cabbage in baking dish with sauce.

7Repeat layers.

8Cover with bread crumbs which have been mixed with 4 tablespoons butter.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
