Creamed Spinach

  • 20 ounces, weight Chopped Frozen Spinach
  • 4 pieces Bacon
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Garlic
  • Chopped Green Onions (optional)
  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Nutmeg
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions

    Cook spinach in the microwave. Drain. Cook 4 pieces of bacon in a skillet. Drain most of the grease. Chop bacon. Add garlic. Saute for a minute or two. You can add green onions at this point, if you want.

    Add spinach, cream cheese, and heavy cream. Add salt and pepper. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Stir. Stir in parmesan cheese.
