  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

    Cream 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp.

    vanilla in a bowl until fluffy.

    Add flour gradually until mixture forms soft dough.

    Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie pan.

    Cream 1/4 cup sugar and cream cheese in a bowl until fluffy.

    Add egg and 1/2 tsp.

    vanilla; beat until smooth.

    Spread over crust.

    Combine apples, cinnamon and 2/3 cup sugar in a bowl; mix well.

    Bake at 400F for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350F and bake for 30 minutes.
