- 2 slices bacon, diced
- 1 medium onion
- 2 medium potatoes, pared and diced
- 2 cans creamed corn
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Saute bacon and onion until golden brown.

2Add potatoes and 3/4 cup water.

3Bring to boil.

4Boil gently, covered, for about 10 minutes, or until potatoes are tender but not mushy.

5Add corn, milk, butter, salt, sugar and pepper.

6Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes, or until hot.

7Freezes well.

8Makes 6 to 8 servings.
