Creamy Rice Pudding

  • 1 gal. plus 1 pt. milk
  • 1 lb. Carolina rice
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • vanilla to taste
  • raisins, boiled in water and drained (optional)

Directions

    Heat milk.

    Before it boils, add rice and 1/2 the sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Keep on medium to medium-high heat and cook 25 to 30 minutes, stirring constantly.
