- 1/2 c. sliced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. thinly sliced potatoes
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. breakfast cream
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- dash of hot sauce
- white pepper to taste
- celery salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp. finely minced onion
Directions

1Slightly brown onions in butter.

2Add potatoes, broth and salt.

3Bring to boiling point, then cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

4Cool and puree in blender.

5Add milk, heat to boiling point, remove from heat and add cream and other ingredients.

6Mix well; chill.

7Serve very cold and garnish with chopped chives.
