- 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped
- 2 c. canned, stewed tomatoes, mashed
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
Directions

1Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.

2Add flour, cook until lightly brown.

3Add onion and bell pepper, saute until tender.

4Remove from heat and combine tomatoes, corn and seasonings; add to flour mixture.

5Cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6Serves 6.
