- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 bay leaf, crushed
- 1/4 c. diced celery
- 1 tsp. minced parsley
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 3 c. water
- 2 c. small shrimp
Directions

1Cook onions in butter until yellow.

2Blend in other ingredients.

3Cook slowly, stirring occasionally until thickened (30 minutes).

4Stir in shrimp.

5May use cooked or uncooked, if uncooked just cook longer until they are done.
