- 2 c. flour, sifted once
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 c. pecans
Directions

1In one bowl, sift flour and salt; set aside.

2In another bowl, put 2 sticks butter; mix until fluffy.

3Add sugar; mix well.

4Mix in vanilla.

5Mix in water.

6Mix in flour (a little at a time). Add nuts (2 cups).

7Make into balls; put on ungreased cookie sheet.

8Press down with 2 fingers.

9Bake at 325°, depending on size of cookies.

10Bake until light golden brown on top.

11Roll in powdered sugar.
