- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 lb. Imperial regular margarine
- 10 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. chopped pecans (measure before chopping)
Directions

1Cream butter and margarine.

2Add sugar, vanilla and water; mix.

3Sift flour and salt; add to mixture.

4Mix.

5Add pecans and mix thoroughly.

6Using a small portion of the mixture about the size of a walnut, roll longways into a crescent shape (keep size even).

7Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 20 minutes. Cool slightly.

8While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
