  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1/2 lb. Imperial regular margarine
  • 10 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. chopped pecans (measure before chopping)

Directions

    Cream butter and margarine.

    Add sugar, vanilla and water; mix.

    Sift flour and salt; add to mixture.

    Mix.

    Add pecans and mix thoroughly.

    Using a small portion of the mixture about the size of a walnut, roll longways into a crescent shape (keep size even).

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 20 minutes. Cool slightly.

    While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
