Crescent Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cold milk
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 4 c. flour, sifted with
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water and let set for 10 minutes. Combine the sugar, milk, oil, salt and eggs.

    Add the flour with baking soda.

    Add the yeast.

    Cover the bowl and let it stand on the counter overnight.

    Remove from bowl to a floured surface and knead.

    Divide in half and roll out two 9 inch circles.

    Cut each circle into 12 wedges.

    Roll up into crescents starting at widest edge.

    Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
