- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 4 1/2 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Scald the milk.

3Stir in butter, sugar and salt.

4Cool until lukewarm.

5Stir in yeast, eggs and flour.

6Knead until a smooth dough is formed.

7Place in a greased bowl and cover.

8Let rise until double.

9Divide dough in three parts.

10Roll in 10-inch circles.

11Cut into 12 wedges.

12Shape pieces.

13Roll up each piece from the wide end to the point.

14Place on a greased baking sheet and pull ends inward to make a crescent. Let rise until double.

15Brush with butter.

16Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

17Makes 36 rolls.
