  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1/2 C. shortening
  • 1 t. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 C. warm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • pinch of brown sugar
  • 4 C. flour
  • butter, room temp.

    ["In a medium saucepan, scald milk. Turn heat to low, add sugar, shortening and salt. Mix until shortening is melted.
