Crisp 5-Minute Cabbage

- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 qt. shredded cabbage
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Heat milk and add the cabbage.

2Simmer about 2 minutes.

3Mix the flour and melted fat and add a little of the hot milk.

4Stir the mixture into the cabbage and cook 3 or 4 minutes, or until thickened, stirring constantly.

5Season to taste with salt and pepper.

6Makes 4 servings, about 1/2 cup each.
