  • 4 quarts sliced pickles
  • 6 white sliced onions
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 green pepper sliced
  • 1/3 c. coarse medium salt
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 1/2 tsp celery seeds
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds

    Slice pickles, onions, peppers and garlic. Cover with ice cubes-drain. Combine other ingredients; pour over cucumber mixture. Heat just to a boil. Seal in hot jars. Makes 8 pints.
