  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3/8 c. corn syrup (Karo)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 box Crispix cereal
  • 1 (11 oz.) can peanuts
  • 1 bag popped corn (3 to 4 oz.)

Directions

    Boil margarine, corn syrup and brown sugar for 2 minutes.

    Add 1/4 teaspoon soda and vanilla.

    Pour syrup over cereal mix. Divide into 2 pans.

    Bake at 225° for 1 hour.

    Stir every 15 minutes.

    Store in refrigerator while still hot.
