- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
Directions

1In medium bowl, pour boiling water over cornmeal.

2Let cool. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, chili powder, cumin and salt.

3Mix egg, milk and margarine with cornmeal mixture. Stir into flour mixture until blended.

4Mixture will be thin.
