- 2 cups Canola Oil
- 4 whole Shallots, Thinly Sliced
- 1 teaspoon Salt To Taste
Directions

1Start by adding the oil to a small pot.

2Add shallots to the cold oil.

3Bring oil to a medium-low heat, stirring along the way, and cook for about 2025 minutes or until they get nice light golden brown.

4Remove crispy shallots with a slotted spoon or kitchen spider, and place onto a paper-towel-lined plate.

5Immediately season with salt.

6As the shallots drain any excess oil, they will continue to cook from the residual heat and get nice and crispy.

7Place into a bowl and serve alongside, or on your favorite burger, sandwich, salad, or soup.
