- 1/2 c. (1/2 lb.) soft butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. each salt and baking soda
- 1/2 c. each granola and carob or chocolate covered raisins
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugars until fluffy.

2Beat in egg and vanilla.

3Mix flour, salt and soda. Gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in granola and raisins. Drop by heaping teaspoonful on greased or nonstick baking sheets.

4Bake at 375° until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.

5Let stand a few minutes on baking sheets before removing to wire racks to complete cooling.
