Ingredients
- 21 oz semi-firm silken tofu, drained, each piece of tofu cut into 6 pieces
- None None vegetable oil, for shallow-frying
- 1 None carrot, julienned
- 2 oz pea shoots
- 6 None small red radishes, julienned
- 2 oz daikon radish, julienned
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp lime juice
- None None Spice Coating
- 2 tbsp flaked sea salt
- 1/2 tbsp Szechuan peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
Directions

1For spice coating, dry toast salt, pepper and chili flakes over high heat until fragrant. Pound using a mortar and pestle until finely crushed. Mix with cornstarch.

2Heat oil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Dust tofu in spice coating. Working in batches, fry for 1-2 mins per side, until golden. Drain on paper towels.

3To serve, toss vegetables with soy sauce and lime juice. Serve with crispy tofu.
