- 2 2/3 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar and salt; mix well.

2In saucepan, heat milk and butter or margarine until warm (120° to 130°); butter does not need to melt.

3Add to flour mixture; add eggs.

4Blend at low speed of mixer until moistened. Beat 1 minute at medium speed.

5Cover bowl with plastic wrap and foil; refrigerate several hours or overnight.

6Stir down batter. Bake on waffle iron on medium heat.

7Serve hot with butter and toppings.

8Makes 6 to 8 large waffles.
