Ingredients
- 4 large chicken breasts
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. celery tops
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
- 12 to 13 c. fresh bread
- 2 eggs, beaten slightly
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 2 1/2 c. broth
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. sage
Directions

1Cook and cut up chicken breasts into bite-size pieces.

2Melt oleo; add onion, celery and celery tops.

3Then add to bread, broth, mushroom soup, eggs, pepper, salt, poultry seasoning and sage.

4Mix all ingredients together except chicken.

5Layer chicken and dressing in crock-pot.

6Cook 1 hour on high, then scrape loose from sides (do not stir).

7Then cook on low 4 hours.
