- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. celery
- 2 cans mushroom soup or mushrooms
- 12 to 13 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. chicken broth and diced giblets
Directions

1Melt butter and saute onion, celery and mushrooms.

2Pour over bread crumbs.

3Add seasonings.

4Pour broth over bread crumbs and add beaten eggs.

5Mix well and put in crock-pot.

6Cook on High for 45 minutes, then 4 to 8 hours on low.
