  • 4 c. brown sugar
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. sour milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix brown sugar, flour, shortening and cinnamon together well until crumbly.

    Take out 2 cups of crumbs.

    Add the rest of the ingredients to remaining mixture.

    Pour in 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle 2 cups reserved crumbs over batter.

    Bake at 350° about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
