- 35 saltine crackers
- 1/2 c (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1/2 c firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 package (8 squares) Baker's semi-sweet baking chocolate, chopped
- 1 c chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Place crackers in a single layer on a foil-lined 15x10x1 inch baking pan.

3Heat butter and sugar in a saucepan on medium-high heat until the butter is melted and the mixture is well-blended.

4Bring to a boil.

5Boil three minutes WITHOUT STIRRING!

6Spread over crackers.

7Bake 7 minutes.

8Immediately sprinkle with chopped chocolate.

9Let stand five minutes.

10Spread melted chocolate evenly over the covered crackers.

11Sprinkle the crackers with walnuts.

12Cool.
-
13Cut or break into pieces.
