  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk (not mixed)
  • 1/4 brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • raisins or other dried fruit

Spread the oats in an ungreased pans (I used a regular sheet pan) and bake for 10 minutes.","2":"Combine the almonds, wheat germ, coconut, powdered milk, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl. When the oats are done, add to the bowl and mix.","4":"In another small bowl, mix the honey, canola oil, and vanilla. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients. Spread the mixture back on the sheet pan. Bake for a total of 15 minutes, but pull the pan out of the oven every 3-4 minutes and stir. If adding dried fruit, stir in during the last 10 minutes of baking.
