  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 (12 oz.) container fresh oysters, drained
  • 1 1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs
  • vegetable oil

Directions

    Combine egg and water.

    Dip oysters in egg mixture and roll each in cracker crumbs.

    Fry in hot oil at 375° for about 2 minutes or until golden brown, turning to brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel.
