  • 6 eggs
  • 400 grams sugar
  • juice of 2 lemons plus grated rind
  • 1000 grams curd cheese (dry)
  • 100 grams semolina
  • 1 pkg. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Mix eggs, sugar, lemon juice and rind.

    Stir in curd cheese through a sieve.

    Mix curd cheese, semolina, flour and baking powder.

    Fold in the egg mixture.

    Bake at 180°C for about 1 hour in a form pan.

    When done, brush with melted butter and dust with powdered sugar.
