  • 1 7/16 cups bread flour
  • 1 2/3 tablespoons yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 8 tablespoons water
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 egg yolk
  • whipped cream
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Add the flour, yeast, sugar, oil, egg, water, and a pinch of salt to a bowl and mix well. Cover in plastic wrap or a towel and allow to rise for an hour in a warm place.

    Add the raisins to the dough and mix well. Divide into small rolls of about 70 grams each.

    Roll into a slightly oval shape and place on a lined baking tray. Cover the trayt with plastic wrap and allow to rise until doubled in size.

    Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

    Brush the rolls with the beaten egg. Bake for about 8 minutes until golden brown.

    Allow to cool, then fill with cream, and dust with powdered sugar.
