- 3 lb. chicken, cut up
- 1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 small onions, finely chopped
- 2 green apples, peeled and diced
- 3 Tbsp. curry powder
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Season chicken with salt and pepper.

2Brown in melted butter; remove from pan.

3Add onions and apples; saute until onions are tender.

4Sprinkle with curry powder and flour.

5Cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes.

6Stir in broth; bring to a boil.

7Add chicken; cover and cook over low heat for 40 minutes, or until tender.

8If sauce is too thick, add more broth.

9Makes 4 to 6 servings.
