Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. mace
  • 10 cardamon pods, remove seeds and grind (1 tsp. cardamon powder may be substituted)
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper or to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp. ground caraway seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. anchovy paste
  • 2 tsp. vinegar

    Combine dry ingredients.

    Add anchovy paste and vinegar and mix well. Store in small airtight container in refrigerator. (Keeps several weeks.)
