  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Slowly pour in hot milk. Pour at once into pie shell.

    Bake in very hot oven at 475° for 5 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 425° and bake 10 minutes longer or until knife comes out clean.
