- 2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- a little cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- prepared pastry shell
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Mix together the eggs, sugar, vanilla, spices and salt.

3Pour scalded milk into mixture and blend well.

4Pour into prepared pastry shell.

5Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then at 375° for 20 minutes.

6Pie is baked well when knife inserted in pie comes out clean.
