Custard Rice Pudding

  • 2 qt. milk
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 big handfuls cooked rice
  • dash of nutmeg
  • sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar

Directions

    Heat milk over low heat.

    In bowl, put eggs, sugar and vanilla; mix together.

    Add warmed milk and mix.

    Put cooked rice in and mix.

    Put in a dash of nutmeg.

    Put in pan and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top.

    Put pan with ingredients in another pan filled with water.

    Preheat oven at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Put custard in and cook until done (about 1 hour).
