Dad's Saucy Meat Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 12 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 12 cup milk
  • 8 tablespoons bennets chili sauce (you can use Kraft but it's not as good)
  • 14 cup chopped onion 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon lea & perrin Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar

    Preheat oven to 350 deg.

    Combine grnd chuck, oats, milk, 2 Tbs chili sauce(save back 6 Tbs for sauce) onion, egg, Lea & Perrins, and chili powder.

    Form into loaf shape and Bake 1hr.

    Combine remaining chili sauce w/brown sugar.

    Spread over meatloaf.

    Bake additional 15 minute or until thermometer reads 165 deg.

    Let stand 10 min and slice.

    If desired, serve with Yukon Gold Homemade ( no instant) Mashed Potatoes and corn.
